Answers to commonly asked questions

Q:  How long will the fragrance last on my potpourri?

A:  The fragrance will last indefinitely if you will spritz it every two to three weeks with the refresher oil and "toss" it like a salad. Note!  Store bottle standing up.   The atomizer may leak if stored on its' side!!  Also, Please screw top on tight!  A handy place to store is in the bottom of basket/bowl with potpourri.   It will be easy to find and it won't matter if it should leak onto the potpourri.

Q:  How long will the fragrance last on my garland?

A:  The fragrance will last for several months. To renew the fragrance, place the garland in a plastic bag, spritz thoroughly with oil, seal the bag, and leave for 48 hours.  This will allow the oil to be absorbed thoroughly. Remove from bag and rehang! To prevent the oil from staining wallpaper, break two wooden toothpicks in half and stick into the back of the cinnamon sticks on your garland. This won't be visible and will keep the garland from touching the wall.

Q:  Can I use my oil as an air freshener?

A:  No. The oil will stain furniture finishes and fabric if sprayed directly into the air. Be sure to place your potpourri in a lined basket if it is to be placed on furniture.

Q:  How do I use my lamp ring?

A:  Put 3 or 4 drops of oil into the groove of the lamp ring and place directly on top of your light bulb. We recommend using a 40-watt bulb.--Higher wattage will cause oil to evaporate too fast, and even smoke! Refresh with 3-4 drops of oil every week, or as needed.

Q:  How long will my votive candle burn?

A:  Be sure to place your candle in an appropriate votive holder so it will maintain its original shape; the candle will burn for up to 20 hours.
